Hey Everyone,

Today, we’re going to show you a complete series of Focus Mitt Drills to help you functionalize your Boxing training and turn you into a leather-throwing, nose breaking, eight armed octopus of death!

We’re going to start off with one of my favourite Boxing training drills.  It’s called “Covering and Countering”.

You can do the Covering and Countering drill pretty much everyday you train. It’s an absolute staple in my school.

The next drill I want to introduce to you is the “Roll Over” drill.

The Roll Over drill is both a great warm up drill and a fantastic drill to help students get ready for sparring.

Check it out here.

Okay, so now, let’s make the Roll Over drill a bit more complex.

We’re now going to combine the Roll Over drill with the 1,2,1,2 Drill.

The attempt with this drill is to imitate the actual randomness of sparring.

Allow me to show you what I mean.

Check out the video below.

Pretty badass heh?!!

It get’s even better.

Now, we’re going to pull everything together and make one giant SUPER DRILL!

It’s starts off with the 1,2,1,2 drill has a base drill.

We’re also going to add random Roll Overs.

AND, we’re also going to throw random Covering and Countering feeds.

Check it out here.

Haha! I told you it was awesome!

This complete drill at the end is difficult for both the feeder holding the Focus Mitts and for the athlete throwing punches.

This is a Boxing Training drill that’s super fun to do and it’s also an amazing workout.

Give it a try and I hope you like it.

Thanks everyone.
